Be A Restaurant Table Captain
As a Restaurant Table Captain you will ‘adopt’ a participating restaurant of your choice and commit to recruit a group of friends to dine at that restaurant with you. After you have signed up to be a Restaurant Table Captain, we encourage you to contact your restaurant to make a reservation and to inform them that you’ll be supporting them the night of Dine Around they’ll be happy to hear from you.
Please spread the word! We encourage you to use whatever tools you have to recruit your family, friends and associates to dine with you. We recommend Facebook, LinkedIn, Evite.com and other social media. You can download information and logos for Dine Around by visiting our Media Page.

Be a Restaurant Ambassador
As an Ambassador, you will interact with guests a restaurant. After guests are seated, you will have the opportunity to welcome them to the restaurant, provide them information about the event, and distribute raffle sign-up/donation envelopes. Whenever possible you will be paired up with another volunteer so that each of you will have a chance to take breaks and eat dinner. Once you arrive at your assigned location, please check in with the manager on duty. We will have notified them in advance that you’ll be a greeter and they will be expecting you. All Ambassador shifts may vary and depend on the dinner hours of each restaurant.

Restaurant Ambassadors should have excellent communication skills and be able to speak with ease and confidence about how AEF and BCEF serve their clients. All Ambassadors are asked to attend an orientation session, Monday November 15, 2010, 7pm 8pm, AEF/BCE Office @ 12 Grace Street, suite 300 to pick up materials and get the information needed to be an effective volunteer. BAR VOLUNTEERS
Be A Bar Captain
As a Bar Captain you will ‘adopt’ a participating bar of your choice and commit to recruit at least 7 friends (to make a group of 8) to have drinks with you at that bar. After you have signed up with us to be a Bar Captain (see our contact information below), we encourage you to use whatever tools you have to recruit your family, friends and associates participate in Drink Around and drink at the bar you have adopted. We recommend using Facebook, Evite.com and other social media. You can download information and logos for Dine Around by visiting our Media Page.

Be a Bar Ambassador
As an Ambassador, you will greet bar patrons as they arrive and hand out information about the event as well as raffle/donation envelopes. There will be an area where patrons can fill these out and turn them in. Whenever possible you will be paired up with another volunteer so that each of you will have a chance to take breaks. Once you arrive at your assigned location, please check in with the manager on duty. We will have notified them in advance that you’ll be an Ambassador and they will be expecting you. All greeter shifts bar will be split between happy hour and late night hours.
